Terms

Terms of service

Effective 30 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and MidLune ([LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS]). They explain what MidLune does, what it does not do, what you pay, and how to leave. Plain language, no traps.

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using MidLune, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, and resident in Canada or the United States.

2. What MidLune is

MidLune is a personal health companion. It helps you organise medicines and supplements, record doses, track labs and vitals, follow screening and vaccine guidance for your age, prepare for appointments, and share a summary with people you choose.

MidLune is not a pharmacy, a laboratory, a clinic, an insurer or a medical device. It does not diagnose, prescribe or treat. See the medical disclaimer for the full statement, which forms part of these terms.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep your email address current so we can reach you about your health reminders.
  • Keep your password and device passcode private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account is for one person. Do not share a login; invite a care-team member instead.
  • Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to your account.

4. Price and free trial

MidLune costs $9.99 per month or $90 per year, giving full access to every feature. Prices are in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes where required.

  • Every new member starts with a 7-day free trial. A valid credit card is required to begin it. Card required, $0 today.
  • You are not charged during the 7 days. Billing starts the day after the trial ends unless you cancel first.
  • Your plan then renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
  • One free trial per person. Trials are not available for accounts that have subscribed before.

5. Cancelling and refunds

  • Cancel any time in Settings. There is no fee and no phone call.
  • Cancel during the trial and you are never charged.
  • Cancel after that and access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Annual plans cancelled within 14 days of a renewal charge are refunded in full on request. Monthly charges are not pro-rated.
  • If we change the price, we tell you at least 30 days beforehand and you may cancel before it applies.

6. Acceptable use

Use MidLune for your own health. Do not:

  • Use it to diagnose, prescribe for or treat another person in a professional capacity.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, or that belongs to someone else without their consent.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, resell or attempt to break the safety-checking systems.
  • Interfere with the service, other members' accounts, or our security measures.

7. Your content and our content

Everything you enter stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, display it back to you, and run the features you ask for. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

MidLune's software, design, wordmark and clinical libraries remain ours. You may use them only as part of the service.

8. Connected services

If you link a pharmacy, clinic record, wearable, calendar or other service, you authorise MidLune to exchange the data needed for that feature. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their accuracy or availability. You can disconnect them at any time.

9. Availability

We work hard to keep MidLune running and reminders on time, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Networks fail, devices sleep, and notifications can be delayed or blocked by your device settings. Never rely on MidLune alone for a dose or an appointment that carries serious risk if missed.

We may add, change or retire features. If we retire something you depend on, we give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

10. Limits of responsibility

MidLune is provided as is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is used fraudulently, giving notice where we reasonably can. You can export your record before you leave, and for 30 days afterwards on request.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. If you live in the United States, nothing here removes the consumer protections of your home state, and you may bring eligible claims in your local small-claims court.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we tell you in the app and by email at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use MidLune after that date means you accept the new terms.
